The Music Box is a Must See

As I was drafting an update on some happenings in “The Life of Charles,” I was reminded of the LA Shorts Fest and one of the great films I saw when I was in attendance – The Music Box. Much to my surprise it can now been seen in its entirety on You Tube. So, of course, I had to post it. It’s ten minutes long, but definitely worth watching. It’s truly remarkable filmmaking and has the Charles seal of approval. So, what are you waiting for? Stop reading and watch it already.

The Director and star of the film, Daniel Cloud Campos (real nice guy by the way), indicated he has never had any formal dance training. He learned everything he knows from meticulously studying Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly. Well, that and twenty years of breakdancing. His goal with film is to bring back that golden era of dance. You won’t get any complaints from me.
